The house, as it turned out, allowed them a sprawling Living room, blending into a lavish Dining room, & an open Kitchen, with 4 bedrooms & a Home Theater to boot. A generous Swimming pool with a water cascade and Barbeque corner lends a sparkle to the home. The home has two entrances, allowing the family to enter from either side, parking or pool, and both paths culminate towards the altar. Both entrances are covered with a pergola/lattice frame and glass panels. These lattice frames allow shelter to main doors while letting the sunlight deep into the home. The visual axis along the entrances ensures that the line of sight is instantly drawn to the simple yet classic altar. The ceiling provides a visual treat with lighting options to suit every mood of the space. The main intent is Expanse of Space, the provision of minimal seating allows the family to experience the generosity of space. The Living room meanders into the Dining room, slightly hidden in an alcove towards the stairs leading to the upper floors. A custom-made table & chairs sit proudly in the space with a bespoke Lighting fixture over the table. Elisha who prides herself on her good taste insisted that the architects give her ample opportunity to display her selections of furniture, furnishings and lighting which is evident from the thoughtful arrangements at all levels in this home. An open Kitchen allows the continuity of the spaces to gently inter-connect all the living spaces on the ground floor without visual obstruction. Maria who is well-known for her cooking spared no expense in ensuring that her every wish was allowed a place in the well-designed and simple-to-use kitchen set-up. A strategically placed island counter serves as a breakfast counter for a quick snack rustled up by the aspiring chef Erica. A laundry room, Pantry and Powder room connect through a passage between the kitchen and Guest Bedroom.
